Sue and Dave Scales would like to welcome you to their restored maison-de-maitre.Set in a small stone hamlet overlooking a tranquil green valley yet only minutes away from the beautiful historic village of St Jean-de-Côle and the local medieval town of Brantôme which must be one of the top attractions in the Dordogne. Our house is light and spacious throughout and furnished with antiques to give a country-house feel. Each of our two large bedrooms can accommodate up to four persons and include a shower room and WC. We also have two double rooms with a shared bathroom which are available at a reduced rate. Meals are taken in the elegant chandelier/candle-lit dining room where a log burner and comfortable seating provide the perfect setting for an aperitif. On beautiful summer evenings we make use of our terrace dining where you can take in the view with a glass of wine. Evening meals are available by prior arrangement for either 20 or 24 Euros per head, with wine and an aperitif included. Beautiful gardens lead to a large swimming pool. We have cycles for hire. |
